Chromatic aberration
Description
Aberration or blurring of an image caused by the dispersion of light into different wavelenghs or color components when it goes through a lens. Axial chromatic aberration occurs when different wavelengths of light (hence different colors) are focused at different distances from the lens. Lateral chromatic aberration occurs when different wavelengths of light are focused at different positions in the focal plane and making the magnification of image different for each wavelength.
