Lasertec Corporation has been developing various inspection and measurement systems mainly for semiconductor-related applications using its core technology in applied optics. In the spirit of "Let's launch a product totally new to the world every year," we are dedicated to developing leading-edge products and technologies and have launched a number of "the world's first" products over the years. In recent years, we successfully developed the world's first actinic EUV patterned mask inspection system using an EUV light source called the ACTIS Series, contributing to the progress of the semiconductor industry.

Technological advancements are being made at a rapid pace in the semiconductor industry. In this environment, we are pursuing a rapid product development strategy, making decisions quickly and changing organizational structures flexibly to provide solutions to customers faster than anyone else. We also adopt a fab-lite strategy in which manufacturing is outsourced to third-party partners so that our engineers can focus on R&D and communicate closely with customers to enable the rapid development of new products. This allows us to swiftly respond to technically demanding requirements from customers, firmly establish a strong relationship with them based on trust, and continuously offer new solutions. We will continue our efforts to pursue new opportunities in areas where our strengths can be used effectively to provide technologically differentiated solutions, thereby gaining high market shares and high profit margins as a result.

Semiconductors are expanding their applications into various new fields, such as AI, IoT, 5G, and data centers, and making our society richer and more prosperous. They keep evolving and achieving higher performance with the pursuit of smaller geometries as well as through the development of new structures and materials. In light of this, we believe the areas where we can contribute will also expand.
